A CAMPUS LAB BUILT WITH MANY DISCIPLINES

Student food-waste research projects

Food-waste recovery touches biology, operations, engineering, sustainability, business, and storytelling. W2N wants students to help study and improve the system together.

WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

Bring your skills to a real campus question.

These are potential project directions for students and student organizations, not advertised vacancies. W2N is developing paid project pathways; funding, supervision, access, and any course-credit arrangement must be agreed before work begins.

INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS

Learn by doing.

Help with biology, data collection, engineering, business planning, sustainability research, or project documentation.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Take on a defined project.

W2N wants to develop semester-based project work with student groups already building skills in film, journalism, sustainability, entomology, and related fields.

FACULTY & CAMPUS TEAMS

Connect a question to the pilot.

Bring a research question, course project, or campus operational challenge that could benefit from a visible test site.

WHY STUDENTS

The people who will live with tomorrow’s climate decisions should have tools to shape them.

A visible laboratory can make sustainability work easier to see, question, and improve, while giving students experience working across disciplines.

Include your discipline, institution or student organization, a question you want to work on, a possible deliverable, and your availability. Project scope and funding are subject to discussion.
